Previously, we discussed how the international body of Messiah perceives heaven, the place where the Heavenly Father established His throne as well as the source wherewith He exercises His sovereign authority over the nations of the earth (reference the study entitled “Heaven”). We’ve also discussed how the views that the gentile nations perceived within their religious assemblies differed from the biblical perspective as perceived by the international body of Messiah (reference the study entitled “Heaven (Part II)”). In this study, we discuss two biblical accounts where people attempted to usurp the Heavenly Father’s throne in heaven and the manner by which the Heavenly Father reacted at such vain attempts.
Previously, we discussed how the international body of Messiah perceives heaven, the place where the Heavenly Father established His throne as well as the source wherewith He exercises His sovereign authority over the nations of the earth (for more information, see the study entitled “Heaven”). In this study we discuss how the views of the gentile nations as perceived within their religious assemblies differ from the biblical perspective as perceived by the international body of Messiah by discussing some of the most influential origins that crept in so that we may be cautious as to how these unique views do not overwhelm us from the glorious freedom we now enjoy in Messiah Yeshua.
Many are under the impression that they will be rewarded with eternal life conditions in heaven. Some, under the pressure of risking eternal condemnation, devout most of their entire lives submitting themselves to the authority of their religious institution under the most impoverished conditions hoping that the end result will be greater than the one that they’ve suffered in this life. Yet, if these who have suffered so much were informed about what the Scriptures say about heaven, they’d possibly make better life choices for themselves and their family. Others see the falsehood in these religious leaders or such associations and simply disregard the truth that can be found within the Word. Still, it becomes important to mention what the Scriptures have to say about heaven, the biblical view that Israel’s Patriarchs had towards heaven and how its difference from idolatrous notions.
Before going any further as to what the Scriptures say, this study would like to first mention a bit about the methodology because our finds are unorthodox in comparison to what many believe.
